iPad Disco Messenger, a Slide application owned by Google Inc

Slide Inc., a company Google bought earlier this year, just released in the App Store a new messaging application, the type GroupM or call Beluga Messenger Disco that has caused much confusion because it is not published under the name Google as being a type of application of the innumerable versions that already exist.

Slide Google bought last August for 182 million and even Disco.com, the URL of the application, was acquired by Google for a substantial figure. Currently

Disco Messenger is only available in the U.S. and hence the pricing of the messages sent to disk is the same as we have contracted for SMS, with the advantage of this application to create groups of contacts and meet in groups . It seems

Slide Inc has permission to act independently of Google. We will be watching to see which way to take this type of applications since Facebook has also recently acquired Beluga, a very similar application to disk.

Will the next group messaging battlefield as mobile applications are concerned?
